Grilled Veggie Pizza

Grilled Veggie Pizza
- 1 large white onion, halved
- 1.5 lb. of vine-ripened tomatoes, halved
- 1 head of garlic, top removed
- 1 teaspoon of coarse salt
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil, divided in two portions
- 6 ounces of soft goat cheese
- Dried herbs: any combination of rosemary, oregano, thyme
- 9 x 12 inch sheet of pre-made focaccia bread often sold in supermarkets.
- Light grill.
- In a roasting pan, combine the halved onions, tomatoes and garlic. Spoon olive oil over assembled vegetables. Season with herbs and coarse salt. Cover and cook over a low heat for 1.5 hours. Reduce until vegetables are caramelized. Remove from grill.
- Slice the vegetables into coarse chunks. Scoop the garlic from the head. Set aside.
- Give focaccio a light brushing of olive oil on the bottom crust.
- Top with goat cheese and grilled vegetables. Cover grill and toast lightly over dying embers. Serve warm.
- 1 head of nappa cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup of ginger, grated
- T of crushed red chili flakes (depending on your taste)
- 2 to 3 cups of carrot, grated
- 1 cup of daikon, grated
- a few dashes of cumin to taste
- 1 cup of raddish, shredded
- 1 cup of broccoli, chopped
- 1/2 to 1 t of cayenne
- 4 to 8…

Ingredients:
(Please Note All Amounts are Adjustable According to What YOU Desire)
- 1-2 Pineapples
- 3-4 Mangos
- 3-4 Large Beefsteak Tomatoes
- 1 Red Onion
- Large Bundle of Green Onions
- Bundle of Cilantro
- 1-2 Red Bell Peppers
- Juice of 1-2 Lemons or Limes
Directions:
- Dice all ingredients and mix into a bowl.
- Mix all of the ingredients until the juices mix together.
- When ready, sprinkle with lemon/lime and enjoy!
Garlicky Kale
You will need:
- 1/2 bunch raw kale, washed, de-stemmed
Process following ingredients:
- 1 1/2 T tahini
- 1 T water (preferably mineralized) I add a pinch of Himalayan sea salt to every Liter of water I consume.
- 1/16 tsp ACV
- 2 T lemon juice or juice of half of a lemon
- 1/8 tsp Bragg’s liquid aminos (I used tamari)
- 1 T nutritional yeast (optional) [I did not use this] but it couldn’t hurt
- 1 tsp. minced garlic (2 - 3 cloves of garlic) I roasted mine
- sesame seeds, to taste as garish (optional)

Green Smoothie!
You will need:
- 1 banana (I freeze mine)
- 1 cup nut milk (I typically use flax milk or hemp milk)
- 1 heaping tsp spirulina
- 1/16 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp lucuma powder
- handful of greens
- pinch of cinnamon
Asparagus Root
- Regulates hormones
- Enhances immune system
- An aphrodisiac

Roots of Asparagus are widely used in Ayurveda to stimulate the immune system and as a treatment of medical conditions such as ulcers and cancer. Asparagus has also been used successfully by some Ayurvedic practitioners for nervous disorders, inflammation, liver diseases and certain infectious diseases.
Asparagus root is a spirit tonic and a Yin tonic. It is able to open the heart, prolong life and also tonify both male and female sexual functions. In Chinese herbalism, it is traditionally used as a major lung tonic. Asparagus root moistens and purifies the lungs, helping with breathing, removing toxins from the respiratory tract, and improving all respiratory functions. The skin is considered to be a part of the lung function and asparagus root has great benefits for the skin. Prolonged consumption sees the skin becoming soft, supple, and smooth, as good skin is the result of pure blood and healthy lungs. Asparagus root is great for those that have dry skin due to a dry environment or internal dryness.
Asparagus root opens up the heart centre, allowing Shen to flourish. It manifests as feelings of goodwill, patience, and peace of mind.
Asparagus root is believed to enhance feelings of love and compassion when taken regularly. It contains steroidal glycosides, and this may be why it has a reputation for increasing these positive feelings. Asparagus root is also a nutritive tonic that relieves some of the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, general exhaustion, and tuberculosis. It is a nutritive tonic for the lungs.
Asparagus root is also a restorative tonic for the female reproductive system and it can enhance fertility, relieve menstrual cramps, and improve the flow of breast milk. It can also help to relieve the swelling associated with rheumatism, bloating, and soothing dryness of the throat.
Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
Niacin assists in the functioning of the digestive system, skin, and nerves. It is also important for the conversion of food to energy.

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)
Vitamin B2 or riboflavin is important for body growth, reproduction and red cell production. It also helps in releasing energy from carbohydrates.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
Vitamin B1/thiamine is important in the production of energy. It helps the body cells convert carbohydrates into energy. It is also essential for the functioning of the heart, muscles, and nervous system. Not getting enough thiamine can leave one fatigued and weak.
Note: Most fruits and vegetables are not a significant source of thiamine.
